Formatting
The goal of formatting is to create a visually appealing and structurally coherent document that meets the intended purpose and audience’s expectations.
This service includes:
Layout Design: Establishing the overall design of the document, including the choice of margins, line spacing, and paragraph spacing. The layout design also involves deciding on the structure and placement of different elements such as headers, footers, and page numbers.
Typography: Selecting appropriate fonts for the text, headings, and subheadings. This includes choosing the size, color, and style (e.g., bold, italic) of the font to ensure the document is visually appealing and easy to read.
Headings and Subheadings: Formatting headings and subheadings to establish a clear hierarchy within the document. This involves using different font sizes, styles, and numbering sequences to differentiate between main sections, subsections, and further divisions of the text.
Tables, Figures, and Illustrations: Positioning and formatting tables, charts, graphs, and illustrations for optimal presentation and readability. This includes adding captions, adjusting sizes, and ensuring these elements are integrated smoothly into the text.
Pagination and Section Breaks: Organizing page numbers and section breaks logically to facilitate ease of navigation through the document. This might include creating a table of contents, list of figures, and list of tables with clickable links in digital documents.
This service does not include translating text; all submitted text must be in English.
We accept and work in Microsoft Word documents only. All edits are made using Track Changes.
