Ms. Swalve has extensive experience providing complete planning services for regional, national, and international meetings, conferences, and trade shows, including meetings and conferences for the FAA, DOT, and USDA.  Ms. Swalve also supports several high-profile task forces and aviation rulemaking committees for the DOT and FAA.

In addition to meeting planning and support, Ms. Swalve has managed and worked on a variety of other rulemaking projects for the FAA, TSA, USDA, DHHS, and FMCSA.  She has over 8 years of experience assisting Federal Government agencies in all aspects of the rulemaking process.  This support includes drafting regulatory documents and Federal Register notices, summarizing and analyzing public comments, organizing and facilitating public meetings, and performing regulatory analyses.  Ms. Swalve also has worked on several FAA advisory circulars and other related documents pertaining to aviation safety management systems.

Ms. Swalve has assisted in the transfer of passenger aircraft from one Part 121 air carrier to another and from the air carrier back to its lessor.  Specifically, she conducted in-depth onsite maintenance records reviews to ensure the aircraft, engines, and propellers complied with FAA regulatory requirements and industry best practices.  She also advised the purchaser or lessor of any concerns regarding the maintenance records that needed to be clarified before the aircraft were purchased or returned, and inventoried and organized the aircraft and engine records.

Ms. Swalve has an extensive legal background.  She is a licensed attorney who has appeared in state and federal courts.  She has practiced in several areas of the law, including litigation and contract drafting and interpretation.
